Suzuki Motorcycle India has rolled out the 2025 GSX-8R, and it’s now OBD-2B compliant — meaning it meets the latest emission norms while still packing all that performance riders love. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or someone who just wants a solid, refined ride, the GSX-8R promises to deliver. Price tag? ₹9.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Available now at Suzuki’s big bike dealerships across India. It rolls on Dunlop RoadSport 2 tyres wrapped around lightweight cast aluminium wheels, and comes in three slick colours — Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Black No.2.

Deepak Mutreja, VP of Sales & Marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India, shared that this update brings better emission monitoring to the table, all while keeping the bike’s responsive character intact. So yes, it’s greener but still meaner in the right ways.

At its heart is a 776cc parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft, offering that throaty V-twin-like rumble. Thanks to Suzuki’s Cross Balancer tech, the engine runs smooth with minimal vibration.

The bike also comes loaded with tech from the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.): multiple ride modes, traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, a bi-directional quickshifter, and even features like Low RPM Assist and Easy Start.

Design-wise, it’s sharp and aerodynamic with a forward-leaning stance, sleek LED lighting, and forged aluminum handlebars. Suspension duties are handled by SHOWA SFF-BP inverted forks up front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking is top-notch too, with dual 310mm discs and four-piston radial calipers.
