BMW F 450 GS Accessories Price List

We all know that entering the premium BMW Motorrad ecosystem comes with a bit of a “BMW tax”, but the accessory price list for the hugely popular made in India BMW F 450 GS takes things to an entirely new level. If you thought buying and servicing the actual bike was going to be the biggest hit to your bank account, wait until you see what it costs to add some functional accessories on it.

Here is a complete category-by-category breakdown of just how much BMW expects you to shell out to accessorise your F 450 GS.

Engine & Body Protection

Adventure bikes at the end of the day are meant to be dropped and its always a matter of when and rather than will it. But if you tip over your F 450 GS without protection, it’s going to hurt. Sadly, protecting it isn’t cheap either. An Engine Protector will set you back a massive ₹28,204, and the standard Engine Guard is ₹18,669. Want just the individual left or right guard kits replacement? That’s ₹13,801 a side! Even a tiny Tank Pad costs ₹4,900, which is wild.

  • Engine protector — ₹28,204
  • Engine guard — ₹18,669
  • Kit, engine Guard left — ₹13,801
  • Kit, engine Guard Right — ₹13,801
  • Kit handlebar riser — ₹6,089
  • Kit radiator — ₹4,410
  • Kit, axle protector — ₹9,245
  • Tank pad — ₹4,900
  • Set, hand protection (Black) — ₹6,189

Windscreens & Seating

If the stock seat height doesn’t work for you, BMW will charge you ₹21,200 just for a Low Seat. On the windscreen front, if you want a bit of extra weather deflection on the highway, the High Windshield is priced at ₹14,359, while a tinted rally option is nearly ₹15,000.

  • Windshield, High — ₹14,359
  • Windscreen, Clear rally — ₹12,410
  • Windscreen, Tinted rally — ₹14,632
  • Seat, Rallye — ₹9,081
  • Seat, black, low — ₹21,200

Luggage Systems & Bags

This is where the pricing goes from premium to outright ridiculous, luckily, I am sure there will be aftermarket options to tackle this very soon. If you want the Both Side Holder with Bags (Qty 2) setup, prepare to part with ₹61,833. If you want the more stylish “Soulfuel” small 10L side bag, that alone is ₹22,710—and remember, that’s just for one small 10-litre bag! Even a tiny 5L Tank Bag costs ₹16,193.

  • Luggage grid — ₹20,525
  • Both side holder with bags (Qty 2) — ₹61,833
  • Side Bag Black large (16L) — ₹20,832
  • Side Bag Black small (10L) — ₹17,706
  • Side Bag white large (16L) — ₹21,374
  • Side Bag white small (10L) — ₹18,168
  • Side Bag soulfuel large (16L) — ₹26,717
  • Side Bag soulfuel small (10L) — ₹22,710
  • Duffle bag (40L) — ₹11,231
  • Duffle bag (60L) — ₹12,354
  • Tank bag Adv (5L) — ₹16,193
  • Tank bag Bla (5L) — ₹16,193

Navigation & Electronics

The Kit ConnectedRide Navigator is priced at an astronomical ₹81,817. And no, that doesn’t include the holder to actually mount it to your bike—the Navigator Holder is an additional ₹43,353! That means spending over ₹1.25 Lakh just to have BMW’s navigation ecosystem on your dash. The piece of Protective Glass for your standard TFT display costs ₹4,107.

  • Set ConnectedRide Cradle — ₹24,631
  • Kit ConnectedRide Navigator — ₹81,817
  • Protective glass TFT display — ₹4,107
  • Navigator holder — ₹43,353

Workshop Stands & Wheels

While there will surely be aftermarket options to deal with this one, but if you are planning to do your own chain maintenance at home, the Rear Assembly Stand is ₹26,997, and the front is ₹27,177. Also replacing a single Front Spoked Wheel will cost you ₹52,425 before you even factor in the tyre or labour.

  • Assembly stand Rear — ₹26,997
  • Assembly stand Front — ₹27,177
  • Spoke wheel, black, rear — ₹51,318
  • Spoked wheel, black, front — ₹52,425

Oh yes, and that Akrapovic silencer has been priced at ₹54,000.

Also, yes, nobody is forcing you to buy these accessories, there is for sure aftermarket accessories already or on the way as a viable option. But I am almost certain that for core things like protection, aftermarket ones will be a painful point of consideration when it comes to denying warranty claims.

It’s going to be an interesting journey to see how things with the BMW F 450 GS unfold in India. The motorcycle is definitely good, but the BMW badge is unnecessarily hiking the price for parts.
