Hero MotoCorp had already shown the refreshed Mavrick 440 internationally right around the time the older version was discontinued in India. This refreshed version has USD front forks and a TFT instrument console. This updated version, internationally sold as the Hunk 440 finally seems to be headed for an India launch as it has been spotted recently, from what looks like a factory floor.
Hero MotoCorp originally revealed a USD and TFT-equipped version of the motorcycle at the EICMA Show 2024. A similar iteration was subsequently caught filming a television commercial in India under the Hunk 440 moniker destined for international exports. The newly spied bike, however, clearly sports Mavrick 440 badging on its fuel tank, confirming that this upgraded specification is heading directly to Indian showrooms.
Key Upgrades: USD Forks and TFT Display
The most prominent updates on the spied Mavrick 440 variant include:
- Inverted Front Suspension: Telescopic upside-down (USD) front forks finished in an eye-catching gold shade.
- Portrait-Style TFT Cluster: A full-colour digital dash mirroring the unit found on its platform sibling, the Harley-Davidson X440. The console provides smartphone application support, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and SMS notifications.
Hero MotoCorp could introduce these premium components as a range-topping trim or make them standard across the lineup. The brand previously applied a similar tactic with the Karizma XMR 210, which initially offered USD forks and a TFT screen on the top variant before making them standard equipment and dropping the older base model entirely.
Mechanical Specifications and Expected Pricing
Underneath the cosmetic and hardware tweaks, the core mechanical foundation remains intact:

With the inclusion of the gold USD forks and the advanced TFT screen, the revised Mavrick 440 is expected to carry a modest price increase over its last recorded figures following the GST 2.0 reforms. While details regarding a potential Scrambler edition of the Mavrick 440 remain eagerly awaited, further launch dates and final pricing for the flagship cruiser should surface shortly.
