After a long delay, thanks to the Mumbai rains, CFMoto has finally made it to the Indian market and has launched its first four motorcycles – 300NK, 650NK, 650GT, and 650MT – at an event in Bangalore. We were there to check out the bikes in person and were quite impressed.
CFMoto 300NK
For an introductory price of Rs 2.29 lakh, the 300NK is the most affordable offering from CFMoto. It’s a naked streetfighter that has a sharp, aggressive, and sporty design. It should appeal to a lot of young buyers. It offers various cool features like a full-coloured TFT dash with a couple of display modes. The quality of the screen looks pretty good.
The large tank scoops/extensions add to the lively design of the bike. We also like the funky-looking headlight whose main highlight is the LED DRL. Powering the 300NK is a 292cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 34hp and 20.5Nm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
CFMoto 650NK
The 650NK is the naked model in CFMoto’s 650 range of motorcycles. It looks much beefier and muscular than its smaller sibling. CFMoto has done a fantastic job in designing all of its four motorcycles. The 650NK is powered by a 649.3cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine which has been tuned to produce 61hp and 56Nm.
It also gets a fully digital display but it is quite different from the one that we saw in the 300NK. Other features of this bike include dual disc brakes at the front, telescopic forks, full LED lighting, etc. CFMoto has given this beauty an introductory price of Rs 3.99 lakh.
CFMoto 650MT
Moving on to the bike number two in the 650 series, we have the 650MT. It is an adventure-tourer that draws power from the same parallel-twin engine that we’ve just mentioned but CFMoto has tuned it a bit differently. Here, it produces 71 horses and 62 Newton-metres.
To make sure the bike is capable of handling various types of terrains, it has a long travel suspension setup, higher ground clearance, larger aerodynamic fairing with an adjustable windscreen, crash guards, knuckle guards, single-piece seat, etc. For this, you would need to pay Rs 4.99 lakh.
CFMoto 650GT
Priced at Rs 5.49 lakh, the 650GT is the last of the 650 series. It is a sports tourer that has been designed to cover long distances with ease. And to help it do so, it has capable equipment like large fairing, adjustable windscreen, 19-litre fuel tank, a powerful twin-cylinder engine that produces 62.5hp and 58.5Nm, and much more.
The suspension setup has been set to provide a plush ride quality without compromising on high-speed stability. There is a 5.0-in TFT dash, USB charging port, and a 12V power socket. The 650GT looks very different from its other 650 siblings. It can be identified or differentiated easily as it has unique LED DRLs and twin LED headlamps.
CFMoto has said that the online bookings of all the four models will commence from 5th August and the deliveries are scheduled to begin in October. All the prices are introductory. We don’t know until when they are going to last. Also, all the four motorcycles come with a standard warranty of 2 years which can be extended to 5 years. As of now, CFMoto has a total of seven dealerships across the country. It will expand its network and establish dealerships in other cities as well.
