MV Agusta recently uploaded a post on Instagram regarding the much-loved Superveloce 800. The post said that this new gorgeous Italian artwork is coming in 2020.

It was at the EICMA 2018 where the Superveloce 800 was showcased as a concept. We all are well aware of MV’s unique taste when it comes to design and the Superveloce is no exception. It grabbed a lot of attention at the show and it is definitely going to get even more love once launched.

One of the most striking features of this bike will be its round headlamp and taillight. It’s a very light touch of retro and looks phenomenal. And the sculpted fuel tank will leave you speechless. Being an MV, this one too will be extremely fast and agile. It will have performance parts like a single-sided swingarm, Brembo brakes with radial calipers, use of carbon fibre to keep the weight in check, performance exhaust with amazing sound, and much more. It will also feature a fully digital instrument cluster and a bunch of electronic rider aids like different levels of traction control and various riding modes.

As far as the engine is concerned, chances are the Superveloce is going to extract its power from a familiar 799cc 3-cylinder engine that we’ve seen in the F3 800. There it produces 148 horses and 88Nm of torque. Perhaps, it will be in a different state of tune in the Superveloce.

More and exact details are expected to be revealed soon. MV has also announced that it is going to reveal the price of the bike later this year. Let’s see when and if this one comes in India.
