After launching the all-new Gixxer SF a couple of months ago, Suzuki has now launched its MotoGP edition. This is something that we did speculate will happen sooner or later. The new Gixxer SF MotoGP edition looks fabulous and should appeal to a wider audience, especially the youngsters and fans of the motorsport.

The Gixxer SF MotoGP edition flaunts its gorgeous Racing Blue colour along with the Suzuki Ecstar graphics. There are distinctive pinstripes on the alloys as well. Team Suzuki is doing pretty well in the current MotoGP season. Alex Rins has shown immense talent and given us some fantastic and thrilling races. He has a different riding style and should be one of the top contenders for the world championship title which is currently in the hands of Marc Marquez. Alex’s teammate Joan Mir is also doing pretty good.

Apart from the new livery, the rest of the bike remains completely untouched. We get to have the same 155cc single that produces 13.9hp and 14Nm. Other features include fully digital instrument cluster, LED headlight and taillight, dual disc brakes with single-channel ABS, split-seat configuration, etc.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP edition is priced at Rs 1,10,605 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and comes at a minor hike over the standard model. Now we’re thinking whether Suzuki would launch a Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP edition or not. What do you guys think?
