Well well this was unexpected! We knew Triumph would be at the Auto Expo 2014 but another launch in such a short span? We have it on good authority that Triumph will be launching another motorcycle, most probably another motorcycle in the Thunderbird platform. Apart from this we will have the entire Triumph line up present at the Auto Expo. Surprisingly we still have no word on the Triumph Daytona 675. The ‘R’ version was launched earlier during its total product presentation for India. Will we see that as well at the Auto Expo 2014? We think not, as Triumphs current focus is not on the sport segment and in an interview with us at the launch, Mr. Vimal Sumbly explicitly mentioned that at least for this year their sport offering will be focused on the best they have and that’s the Daytona 675R. But rest assured the Daytona 675 is coming in for sure.
