The Suzuki GSX250R is a fully faired street machine that brings the joy and satisfaction of Suzuki’s Katana sport bike heritage to a broader audience. This approachable street-sport bike features a proven, twin-cylinder, fuel-injected engine wrapped in stylish full-fairing bodywork. With responsive yet easy-to-control performance, good fuel efficiency, nimble handling, and a comfortable riding position, the Suzuki GSX250R is equally at home on the daily commute as it is on extended outings.
A low seat height, slim fuel tank and overall light weight makes the new Suzuki GSX250R an an un-intimidating ride. Ten-spoke aluminium wheels and tuned KYB suspension keep the bike nimble and responsive for city streets as well as open roads. With a four-gallon (15 L) fuel tank and highly efficient power plant, the GSX250R has a riding range of well over 350 kms.
The new Suzuki GSX250R combines sharp, sporty looks and nimble performance with comfortable ergonomics, and is destined to be as at home cutting through city traffic on the commute as it is taking the long way home on twisty B-roads. A full LCD dash give the rider important information such as gear-position indicator, fuel gauge, and clock.
Clip-on handlebars give a direct and sporty feel, but are also positioned for a comfortable ride, which match the GSX250R’s design, while the engine is super relaxed and is designed to give good low to mid-range, producing 23.4 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm and peak power of 25 PS at 8,000 rpm. (Yawn!)
Intake valves are designed to optimise airflow into the combustion chamber, improving performance and reducing emissions, while a new two-into-one exhaust enhances performance in the mid range.

Now from an Indian perspective and actually even a global perspective, the 250cc segment is actually dying or maybe even dead. The industry has moved on to the 300 to 400 cc segment which will automatically make this twin cylinder motorcycle obsolete and overpriced. Suzuki somehow always joins the party late, and they really need to up their game in India when they finally re-enter the 250-400 cc segment and learn from the Inazuma disaster.
