Benelli has confirmed the launch of the TRK 502 and TRK 502X on the 18th of February, 2019 with bookings beginning by the end of January 2019. The TRK 502 is expected to be priced anywhere between INR 5-5.5 lakhs while the TRK 502X may be costlier than the 502 by roughly INR 20,000. Both these motorcycles get the same liquid cooled 499.6 cc parallel-twin engine that makes 47.6 PS of power and 45 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The TRK 502 is a more road-based variant with the 502X being more suited for off-roading and varied terrains.
The latter has already been spotted testing on Indian roads. Both these models make use of the same chassis although the 502 gets 17-inch rear and front alloy wheels with specially integrated Pirelli Angel GT tyres while the 502X makes use of 19-inch and 17-inch front and rear wheels in tandem with Metzeler Tourance tyres. Seat height stands at 850 mm for the TRK 502X and ground clearance stands at 220 mm. The 502X also gets a bash plate. ABS is standard for both bikes and both do not have traction control or any riding modes.

There are 320 mm twin discs in front along with single 260 mm rear discs. The TRK 502 and TRK 502X will be the first new products to be launched by Benelli India in the country as part of its tie-up with Adishwar Auto Ride India (Mahavir Group).
