The Bajaj Pulsar 180 ABS has been spotted prior to its upcoming launch. Bajaj Auto is preparing to launch upgraded versions of its Avenger and Pulsar line-up in early 2019 and the Avenger 220 Cruise ABS has started already arriving at Bajaj dealerships throughout India. The 2019 Pulsar 180 ABS is also expected to arrive sometime soon and the model being tested sports wheel speed sensors which is a vital ABS component. There will be single-channel ABS like the Pulsar RS 200 in tandem with RLP (Rear Lift-Off Protection) as standard.

The ABS setup has been offered for the current front 260 mm disc and there is a 230 mm unit at the rear. The 2019 Pulsar 180 ABS gets the current version’s colour choices and decals is will replace the older version completely by April 2019. The design and styling will remain the same. The new Pulsar 180 comes with a single cylinder 178.6 cc air cooled engine that makes 17.02 PS and 14.22 Nm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed transmission system.
The introduction of ABS may lead to the prices increasing by roughly INR 3 – 5,000. The present version is available at INR 85, 523 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Bajaj is also presently working on ABS upgrades for the Pulsar 220F and Pulsar 150 models. The Pulsar LS 135 may be substituted by a 125 cc version which is sold in specific global markets.
