Suzuki Motorcycle India planning a re-entry into the 250 cc premium motorcycle category sometime in 2019. The company may launch the brand new Suzuki Gixxer 250 sometime in mid-2019. Suzuki does not have any offering in this segment ever since the Inazuma was discontinued in the year 2015. While there are mixed reports on the platform that will be adopted, we expect a motorcycle that will take on the FZ25. That means, expect a single cylinder 250cc machine with design inspiration from the current generation of Gixxer available in India.

Another expectation is that the Suzuki Gixxer 250 may have styling cues inspired heavily by the GSX-S300 from Suzuki while sharing a few components with the inclusive of regular fork suspension systems and MRF tyres. Other key features include a fully digital instrument cluster and LED tail light and headlamp. ABS would be a standard feature for this street-naked motorcycle along with an air cooled single cylinder 250 cc engine which is fuel injected.
