An interesting update may be on the anvil from Honda for the Indian market although nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet. While the Honda CB300R has been confirmed for the country with a launch mostly on February 8th, Honda may be considering the CB300 TT for the country which could launch by 2020. This will be a retro-designed bike with a 286 cc engine and was shown in the form of a concept at the Bangkok Motor Show in 2016.

Latest reports indicate that the CB300 TT Café Racer will enter production lines next year. The bike will be based on the CB300F and CB300R and with the same chassis, it will be differentiated through the swing-arm and sub-frame which will be shorter than the other two counterparts. A cowl will be taking the place of the pillion seat since there will be a saddle only for the rider. The same single cylinder 286 cc liquid cooled engine will be used for the CB300 TT with performance figures expected to be 30.9 BHP and 27.5 Nm.

Like the concept there could be a radially mounted 296 mm front disc brake with four-pot callipers complete with the ABS. There could also be upside down telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. The clip-on style handlebar may help in attaining a riding position that leans forward in true cafe racer style.
