Bookings have started for the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 across dealerships in several Indian cities. The new generation Dominar 400 has been tested extensively on Indian roads in the recent past and several updates for the new bike were confirmed upon the release of Bajaj Auto’s The World’s Favourite Indian campaign. There will be new USD forks with the front disc now on the other side which hints at the Duke 200 and the Dominar having the same front forks.
The damping may be tuned uniquely for the Dominar 400 and the exhaust setup will also be revamped for a newer and fuller exhaust note. The tank panel also seems to have minor design changes. There is also new instrumentation with a digital secondary unit showing the odometer, gear position and time as expected. Power and torque figures may be bumped up slightly as well with the inclusion of a DOHC setup.
The Dominar 400 may officially launch within a few weeks with prices expected to be slightly higher than the INR 1.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) tag that the bike currently sports.
