Royal Enfield has officially launched the Classic 350 ABS in the Indian market at INR 1.53 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). There is a dual-channel ABS unit available for the bike and the feature was first launched for the Classic 350 Signals Edition in August 2018 and has also been introduced in phases for the Redditch and Gunmetal Grey models as well. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 ABS is costlier than its non-ABS counterpart by roughly INR 5,800.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 ABS comes with a single cylinder 346 cc air cooled engine that makes dishes out 19.8 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission system. The Classic 350 ABS comes with a front 280 mm disc brake and 240 mm rear disc brake. There are telescopic front forks along with twin rear shock absorbers. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and 350 ES are expected to receive ABS soon since this safety feature will become compulsory from the 1st of April, 2019, as per reports. The Bullet line-up is expected to get dual-channel ABS next month itself.
