The upcoming Bajaj Avenger 180 Street may only be a temporary player in the Indian market. Bajaj Auto is reportedly planning to replace this model sometime in the near future with a smaller offering, namely the Bajaj Avenger 150 Street with a new heart. This will be a 160 cc BS-VI version with an engine like the four valve mill found in the Pulsar NS 160 model. The 160.3 cc single cylinder mill could dish out 15.5 PS and 14.6 Nm with a 5 speed gearbox.

There should be standard ABS and rear lift protection in tandem with telescopic front forks and a rear twin sided spring in tandem with an added LED headlight and digital instrument cluster. The new generation Avenger 150 Street could arrive in 2020. Rajiv Bajaj, the Managing Director at Bajaj Auto, has also reportedly confirmed the launch of the brand new Bajaj Pulsar line-up soon after the BS-VI emission regulations are implemented in India as well.
