The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 is very close to its launch in the Indian market and several other details have been revealed about the same recently. The 2019 Dominar 400 will come with a new green colour and will sport a revised engine. This engine makes 5 PS of added power while torque figures remain the same. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. The extra power has been made available by moving from SOHC setup to a DOHC setup.
The 2019 Dominar 400 will have 43 mm upside down telescopic front forks with an adjustable monoshock at the rear which has been softened for a smoother ride. The front disc brake will also be shifted to the left portion of the wheel while the instrument cluster will have a new layout with the primary screen showing the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and DOT matrix display. Warning signs include the coolant temperature, low oil pressure, Bajaj logo, low battery, side stand indicator and service reminder. There is also information on average fuel consumption, fuel consumption, trip time, average speed, active warning and fuel range. Other display icons include high beam, malfunction light, ABS, turn indicator, neutral gear, low fuel warning, alarm and RPM limit. Its also now heavier by 2 kgs at 184 kg wet.

The secondary display is on the fuel tank and shows two trip meters, gear position indicator, clock and odometer. There is a new design for the exhaust as we already know and it now sounds much better. The pillion seat now sports a D logo and also new is the rear view mirror and its stalk.
An official price announcement and launch is expected in the next 10 days with price around the 1.8 lakh mark.
