Ducati India has confirmed that the launch of the Multistrada 1260 Enduro will take place on Tuesday, 9th July. We don’t have the prices yet but considering the fact that it will be equipped with much more equipment than the Multistrada 1260, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a price higher than the Rs 18.03 lakh mark.

The Multistrada 1260 Enduro is primarily designed to be more raw and hardcore when it comes to adventure riding. To help the rider utilise the maximum out of this machine, Ducati has provided an updated electronics package that includes a six-axis IMU, cornering ABS, four tailorable riding modes (Urban, Sport, Touring and Enduro), Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Traction Control, and Vehicle Hold Control (hill-hold assist). There’s even the Skyhook suspension package which allows you to change the suspension settings. Talking about the suspension, Ducati has reduced the suspension travel on the Multistrada 1260 Enduro by 15mm.

To make the new Strada more approachable by a wider audience, Ducati has also reduced the seat height from 870mm to 860mm. There’s even an 840mm option as well for shorter riders. Apart from that, there is a 5.0-in TFT display that looks fabulous and functions even better. It features (optional) Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone pairing via Ducati multimedia system.

The heart of the Multistrada 1260 Enduro remains the same 1,262cc Testastretta DVT engine which produces 158 hp and 128 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission that is tied with a bi-directional Ducati Quick Shifter as standard.

The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro is clearly a better and thorough package. When launched, it will compete against the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure and the Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx.
