One of the most accessible litre-class motorcycles in India is the Kawasaki Ninja 1000. It’s a sports tourer with plenty of power to play around with. Perhaps, that’s the reason for its huge popularity in the Indian market. And because of the high demand, India Kawasaki Motor has introduced a new silver colour option.

It’s called the ‘metallic matte fusion silver’ and it certainly looks freaking awesome. Yes, we know that Kawasakis usually look great in their iconic green colour but trust us, this silver looks very elegant on the bike. And it would look even better in person.
If you like this new colour option you would need to hurry a bit because only 60 units of the Ninja 1000 in this colour have been made available. Bookings for the same are now open. Other colours of the Ninja 1000 – candy lime green and metallic spark black – will be available as before.

Apart from the new paint scheme, the rest of the bike remains the same. It is powered by a 1043cc in-line four-cylinder engine that produces 140bhp and 111Nm of peak torque. Owing to its sports tourer character, it comes with a 19-litre fuel tank. There are some electronic aids as well like three-mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTC) and KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function), etc.
The Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is available at a price of Rs 10.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Kawasaki is not charging any extra money for the new silver colour.
