Bajaj Pulsar 150 is one of the best selling motorcycles in its segment. It carries a smooth combination of attractive looks, refined engine, and good fuel efficiency. Bajaj will be bringing an updated model of the Pulsar 150 to make it BS6 compliant. There are a couple of spy shots of a red colour Pulsar 150 which seems to be undergoing some kind of a road test. So is this the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 150?

As per our colleagues at Zigwheels, the bike in the pictures is the updated 2020 Pulsar 150. It is going to get a BS6 compliant engine and perhaps that’s why Bajaj is (finally) giving it a fuel injection system. In terms of aesthetics, we don’t find any major changes but since the test mule is in red colour, we won’t be surprised to see it in the production model.
A few other minor changes include steel-braided brake lines to enhance the braking performance of the bike, gold-finished calipers, reflectors of the front forks, and perhaps some new graphics.
We aren’t expecting to see any changes in the engine of the updated Pulsar 150. It should be powered by the same 149cc single that produces 14hp and 13.4Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. It’s a trustworthy engine that has been successfully running in the bike for all these years. Bajaj wouldn’t want to mess that up, right?

The current model of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 is available in three variants – Standard, Twin disc, and Neon. We are expecting to see a hike in the price of the 2020 Pulsar 150 by around Rs 4000 to Rs 6000.
It’s good to see that Bajaj is paying attention to its lower-end models as well. It is because of these models that sell in abundance that allow the company to develop better and higher-end motorcycles.
