Ahead of the upcoming festive season in the country, TVS has just launched the Star City Plus Special Edition to woo in customers. The new model comes with a few cosmetic changes which should be able to increase sales during the festivals.
The new Star City Plus Special Edition is available in a new white and black dual-tone colour. That’s not it, TVS has even given the rearview mirrors and the seat a dual-tone treatment. They do look nice and fresh. The rear suspension is now painted red to catch the eye.
Apart from cosmetics, there are no other changes done to the bike. It continues to run on the same 109cc, singe, that produces 8.3bhp and 8.7Nm. There are four gears. Being a commuter motorcycle, its main advantage is fuel efficiency. It has a 10-litre fuel tank.
When it comes to the ride quality, thanks to the telescopic oil damped front suspension and the 5-step adjustable hydraulic rear shock absorber, it is pretty comfortable and plush.
The new Star City Plus Special Edition is available for Rs 54,579 (ex-showroom) which is Rs 559 more than standard model.
