As the name suggests, the new Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split-Seat variant gets a split-seat instead of a single-piece unit like that of the recently launched Pulsar 125 Neon. Apart from that, there are a handful of other cosmetic changes for which Bajaj is asking for Rs 70,618 (ex-showroom, Hyderabad), almost Rs 3.9k more than the price of the Neon model that retails at Rs 66,714 (ex-showroom, Hyderabad).
For that extra money, you get tank shrouds, underbelly cover, chrome badge on the fuel tank, split grab rails, and a new gloss black colour with red or blue graphics. Does all this count for 3.9k bucks more? Let us know in the comments.
The rest of the bike remains exactly the same and shares all the mechanicals (engine, suspension, brakes) with its other 125cc sibling.
Bajaj hasn’t quoted Rs 70,618 as the official price of the Pulsar 125 Split-Seat model, however, it is on sale at that tag in Hyderabad. Other places where it is available include Assam, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura and costs from Rs 71,891 to Rs 72,915 (ex-showroom).
You must be wondering why Bajaj hasn’t launched the bike in the whole country? Well, as per the reports, Bajaj would be carrying out the launch in a phased manner and would study the market response before going all in. Pretty clever, isn’t it?
