The Imperiale 400 will be Benelli‘s first retro bike in India that’s expected to be launched between Oct 22-24. Even though that’s almost a month from now, Benelli has started accepting its pre-bookings for a token amount of Rs 4,000. You can do so either by the company’s official Indian website or visiting a Benelli dealership.
Benelli Imperiale 400 key features-

- 5-speed gearbox
- Conventional suspension setup
- Dual-channel ABS
- Twin-pod instrument console
- 3-year/unlimited warranty
- 19-in front/18-in rear wheel
- Dry weight 200kg

As far as the pricing is concerned, Benelli hasn’t disclosed that yet but it is being anticipated that the Imperiale 400 would fall somewhere in the range of Rs 2.0-2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the deliveries are expected to commence right after Diwali.
Needless to say, Benelli is playing quite aggressively ever since it re-entered the Indian market with its new partner. And with its Imperiale 400, it is going to target the rapidly growing affordable retro-styled motorcycles. Its biggest rivals will be the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the re-launched Jawa.
