A Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler company called Ultraviolette is going to launch its first electric motorcycle next month, that goes by the name F77. The F77 is supposedly crowned as India’s first high-performance electric motorcycle.
Ultraviolette has been testing the prototype of the F77 for quite some time now. In fact, its test mule was spotted a few months ago and it indeed looked quite sporty. It had forward-set clip-ons for that sporty riding stance. It also had full LED lighting.
While the official spec sheet isn’t out yet, it is being speculated that the F77 (codename) will feature Metzeler M5 tyres, dual-channel ABS, and a 25kW/450Nm electric motor. The electric motorcycle is expected to do the 0 to 60 km/h sprint in 3 seconds and 0 to 100 km/h sprint in less than 8 seconds and flat out it will do around 140 km/h. As for the range, it would be somewhere around 150 km in a single charge.
We are expecting to see more details about the F77 soon. Regarding the price, it should be around Rs 2-2.5 lakh mark. Ultraviolette would launch it this yeat itself and will start with Bengaluru.
