We’ve been hearing about the Benelli Imperiale 400 since last month. Most of the info about the bike was known as it is already available in a few international markets. However, we didn’t know at what price Benelli would bring it to India. Well, now we know because Benelli has finally launched the Imperiale 400 and it retails at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Imperiale 400 is Benelli’s first retro-looking bike in India. It looks quite similar to the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa (standard model). It is powered by a 374cc, single, air-cooled engine that produces 21 hp and 29 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Don’t you think the Imperiale 400 looks quite similar to the Classic 350? However, it does a twin-pod instrument cluster which looks much better than that of the Classic. Some other key features of the Imperiale 400 are-
- Dual-channel ABS
- 19-in front wheel
- 18-in rear wheel
- 300mm disc at the front
- 240mm disc at the rear
Available in three colours – black, red, and silver – the Imperiale 400 comes with standard 3-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty. The bookings already started last month and now, the deliveries are expected to commence in the coming weeks.
