Honda has just unveiled the 2020 CB1000R at the ongoing EICMA motor show. Not much has been changed in the new model. Honda kept the revisions limited to the aesthetics and the rest of the bike has been left untouched.
2020 Honda CB1000R changes-
- Blacked-out parts that were previously finished in silver
- Black triple clamp and stem
- Silver strip running at the centre of the fuel tank
All these changes have been done to give the bike a fresh and sportier look. And, oh, Honda has also introduced a new Matte Pearl Glare White colour scheme.
In terms of equipment and engine, the 2020 Honda CB1000R is something we are familiar with. It sources its power from a 999cc, inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 141.4bhp at 10,500rpm and 104Nm of torque at 8,250rpm. It has different riding modes, ABS, and traction control.
The ride-by-wire throttle makes riding this retro-modern naked motorcycle that much more fun. Handling is spot on thanks to the Showa suspension setup at both the ends.
We are expecting Honda to bring the updated model in India sometime during the mid next year.
