2020 Kawasaki Z900 was first unveiled at the EICMA 2019 and it was only a matter of time when it reached the Indian shores. Well, it has now and costs between Rs 8.50 lakh – Rs 9.0 lakh. The previous model was priced at Rs 7.69 lakh. Why the price hike? Read on to find out.
The new Z900 is, of course, BS6-compliant. However, it didn’t have to face any drop in power and torque figures – 125PS at 9500rpm and 98.6Nm at 7700rpm. Apart from that, Kawasaki added an electronics package that includes various rider aids like four riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain and Manual), three-level traction control system and two power modes. Kawasaki also slapped on a set of new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres for added grip.

There’s also a new 10.9cm TFT dash which features smartphone connectivity via Kawasaki Rideology App.
When it comes to aesthetics, the new Z900 continues to have the shape and size except for a new full-LED headlight. Available colour options are Metallic Graphite Gray/Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Flat Spark Black.
