BS6 Yamaha MT-15 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1,38,900 that will get you the bike in either metallic black or dark matte blue. These colour options were already available. However, if you want to go with the new, more vibrant Ice Fluo Vermillion colour scheme, then you will have to shell out Rs 1,39,400. It is the same colour which is present in the Thai and Indonesian markets.
BS6 Yamaha MT-15 Features
Yamaha hasn’t added a plethora of new features in the updated BS6 MT-15. The entire bike is more or less the same as it was before in its BS4 avatar. What Yamaha has added in the new bike, apart from the new Ice Fluo Vermillion colour scheme, is a radial rear tyre and a side-stand engine cut-off feature.

Powering the BS6 MT-15 is the same old 155cc, single-cylinder engine but it has been tuned to comply with the more stringent BS6 emission norms. It produces 18.5 bhp at 10,000 rpm which is 0.8 bhp less than before. And as for the torque, it also came down from 14.7 Nm to 13.9 Nm.

Comparing the price of the new BS6 MT-15 from that of the BS4 model, we find that the new model is around Rs 3,000 more expensive.
We do like the new Ice Fluo Vermillion colour as it brings out the streetfighter and naked look of the MT-15 better. Do you like it?
