India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. has unveiled the latest version of its popular R15M, featuring a striking Carbon Fibre Pattern graphic that reflects the pinnacle of Japanese motorcycle design and engineering. The new R15M is equipped with a 155cc liquid-cooled engine, inspired by the iconic R1, staying true to Yamaha’s SuperSport legacy and the brand’s Racing DNA. The R15M with Carbon Fibre Pattern is priced at Rs. 2,08,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available at Yamaha Blue Square Showrooms nationwide. The upgraded Metallic Grey variant is priced at Rs. 1,98,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available across all Yamaha dealerships
The Carbon Fibre Pattern is derived from the legendary R1M’s carbon bodywork and is applied using advanced water-dipping technology, ensuring a flawless finish. Riders can spot the sleek pattern on the front cowl, side fairings, and rear panels. In addition, the R15M boasts an all-black fender, new tank and side fairing decals, and striking blue wheels, creating a race-inspired look.
One of the standout features of the latest R15M is the inclusion of Turn-by-Turn Navigation, along with music and volume control, accessible through the Y-Connect App available on both Android and iOS. Riders can easily sync their smartphones with the bike for a seamless connected experience. Other upgrades include revamped switchgear and a new LED license plate light for added convenience.

Under the hood, the R15M is powered by a fuel-injected 155cc engine that delivers 14.2Nm of torque at 7,500rpm and a peak power output of 13.5 kW at 10,000 rpm. The bike’s high-performance Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system ensures optimal power delivery across the entire RPM range. The system engages one intake valve for lower revs and another for higher revs, kicking in at 7,400 rpm, giving the rider the best of both worlds.
Additional highlights include a Traction Control System, which minimizes wheel spin, and a Quick Shifter for smooth gear changes without the need for clutch operation or throttle adjustments during upshifts. The Assist and Slipper Clutch reduces lever effort and prevents excessive engine braking, ensuring a stable ride even during hard deceleration.
Riders will also appreciate the fully digital color TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity, enhancing the overall riding experience. These new features reflect Yamaha’s dedication to innovation, constantly evolving to meet the preferences of its customers.
