Hot on the heels of its cousin KTM unveiling the SX-E mini cross motorcycles, Husqvarna Mobility has just unveiled the 2025 EE 5, now featuring advanced water-cooling technology. This enhancement increases average battery life by 30% and ensures a more stable power delivery throughout the entire run time. The new model also incorporates scaled-down bodywork from the full-size motocross lineup, adorned with distinctive new graphics.
Since its successful launch in 2019, the EE 5 has served as a smooth introduction to motocross riding and racing for young riders. Equipped with a powerful 907 Wh Li-Ion battery and a 5 kW electric motor, it matches the performance of a 50 cc combustion engine. The bike offers six selectable ride modes, allowing power delivery to be customized to suit a range of rider abilities.
In its lowest power mode, the EE 5 delivers up to two hours of riding time, though the total run time varies based on track conditions and the mode selected. The most unrestricted mode provides approximately 30 minutes of riding. Charging is simple with the worldwide charger, which is compatible with any 110 or 230-volt socket. An 80% charge is reached in just 45 minutes, while a full recharge takes 70 minutes.
In addition to the water-cooled motor, the EE 5 is designed with a perfectly balanced, height-adjustable chassis. By refitting the ergonomic bodywork and seat into lower mounting points, repositioning the WP shock, and adjusting the WP forks, the EE 5’s seat height can be altered from its standard 674 mm to 626 mm, accommodating shorter riders. As young riders grow, the higher setting can be reinstated to match their height.

Customization continues with the WP suspension, which offers 193 mm of travel at the rear and 205 mm at the front. Adjustable preload, high- and low-speed compression, and rebound ensure a personalized setup for each rider, allowing for comfort and confidence even on rough terrain.
The EE 5 also features high-quality components, including hydraulic disc brakes, a high-strength chromium-molybdenum steel frame, NEKEN handlebars, ODI grips, and MAXXIS tires. These specifications ensure an unparalleled riding experience for young motocross enthusiasts.
