Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled the updated OBD2B-compliant Hornet 2.0, which now features enhanced styling and improved safety elements. The new 2025 Honda Hornet 2.0 is priced at Rs. 1,56,953 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available at all HMSI Red Wing and BigWing dealerships across India.

Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO of HMSI, highlighted the evolution of the Hornet 2.0, noting that the motorcycle has been a game-changer since its debut in August 2020. Over the years, the brand has continuously refreshed the model—introducing special MotoGP editions that received an overwhelming response from customers. With the launch of the new OBD2B-compliant version, the company is set to carry forward this legacy by delivering an even more refined riding experience, coupled with cutting-edge technology and superior safety features.

He emphasized that the revamped Hornet 2.0 comes loaded with exciting new features, including aggressive new graphics, an advanced digital TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and enhanced safety measures like Honda Selectable Torque Control and Dual-Channel ABS. Designed for performance enthusiasts eager to conquer urban streets, the motorcycle is poised to redefine the streetfighter segment.
Updated Design and Modern Features
The new Hornet 2.0 boasts striking new graphics on its body panels, accentuating its aggressive stance. An all-LED lighting setup ensures enhanced visibility and a commanding road presence. Catering to diverse rider preferences, the motorcycle is available in four dynamic colour options: Pearl Igneous Black, Radiant Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Mat Axis Gray Metallic.
Under the hood, the Hornet 2.0 is powered by an OBD2B-compliant 184.40cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that produces 12.50 kW of power at 8500 RPM and 15.7 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, this engine promises an exhilarating ride while meeting the latest emission standards and delivering optimal performance and fuel efficiency. Additionally, an Assist & Slipper Clutch ensures smooth gear shifts and prevents rear-wheel lock-up during aggressive downshifting.
The motorcycle also features a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app, allowing riders to access navigation support, incoming call alerts, and SMS notifications seamlessly. A new USB Type-C charging port adds further convenience by enabling on-the-go device charging. To bolster rider confidence, the Hornet 2.0 is equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Dual-Channel ABS, ensuring superior braking performance and stability under various riding conditions.
