Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced a voluntary recall for certain units of its CB300R motorcycle, specifically those manufactured between 2018 and 2020. The recall comes after the company identified a potential issue in the internal PCB structure of the motorcycle’s headlight. According to Honda, the core wires may experience fatigue breaks at the terminal roots, potentially causing the headlight to flicker or turn off completely.
As a precautionary measure, the affected component will be replaced free of charge at Honda BigWing dealerships across the country. This service will be provided regardless of the vehicle’s warranty status.
This voluntary initiative highlights Honda’s proactive approach and reinforces its commitment to customer safety, trust, and an enhanced ownership experience.
To ensure timely action, Honda BigWing dealers will reach out to customers through calls, emails, and SMS for vehicle inspection. Additionally, customers can independently verify if their vehicle is part of the recall by entering their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the official Honda BigWing website (www.hondabigwing.in).
To avoid waiting times at the dealership, customers are encouraged to schedule their service appointments in advance at their convenience.
