BMW India has decided to add the F650GS to its India line up. The BMW F650GS  sport enduro joins the existing BMW Indian motorcycle line up that consists of the HP2 Sport, K 1300 S, S 1000 RR, R 1200 RT, K 1600 GT, K 1600 GTL Enduro, R 1200 GS, R 1200 GS Adventure, R 1200 R, and the K 1300 R. The motorcycle is expected to be officially launched by May 2012 at an expected ex-showroom price of around 10 lakhs in India.

The BMW F650GS is a 2-cylinder machine producing 71 hp with a torque of 75 Nm that is pretty much evenly spread over the entire rev range. It comes with a torsionally stiff space frame which accommodates the larger airbox and the fuel tank. It comes with cast aluminum wheels that are ideal for both city riding and for covering lengthy straights with speed and at leisure. State-of-the-art ABS is of course available as an optional extra.
