Piaggio seems to be moving very fast with its Vespa 125 plans for India, and here we bring you yet another photograph of the same. The photograph has been sent in by Mr. Chirag Shah.
The model in the picture is the LX 125, would be a four stroke 125 cc automatic transmission (CVT) engine producing 10.7 bhp of power and 9.6Nm of torque. We must say the retro looks definitely add to the appeal of these scooters. Expected price would be close to your average 150CC bike. Quite high but then its a Vespa.
Piaggio after launching the 125cc Vespa LX125 plans to bring in a fuller range that would include more scooters from the Vespa range. The company’s has already brought in the Aprilia superbikes through the CBU route. The company is looking for 100% localization for the Vespa LX 125, which will enable a good competitive price tag for scooter. The company has already tied up with local component suppliers and from the photograph its quite evident that the final product is pretty much ready.
