Benelli returns to the medium-large naked segment with its new Benelli 752 S. They say it is a concrete, pragmatic, and engaging motorcycle, capable of winning over every rider from the first ride as it can guarantee absolute fun on the road. It sure looks the part.
Featuring an intelligent mix of retro and modern design with sporty and harmonic lines, the Benelli 752 S surely captivates at first glance. The steel tube trellis frame envelops the new Benelli four-stroke 750 cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine. Maximum power and torque are respectively 81.6 hp at 9000 rpm and 67 Nm at 6500 rpm. Double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder and electronic fuel injection with double throttle body complete the engine’s technical specifications.
The suspensions consists of a front upside down fork with 50 mm diameter that guarantee stability and effectiveness throughout the entire 117 mm travel. At the back there is a swing arm with central pre-load adjustable mono-shock with 45 mm travel.
The attention to safety and performance is confirmed by the characteristics of the braking system, with a double 320 mm diameter disc on the front and four-piston floating caliper, and a 260 mm diameter disc on the back with a single-piston floating caliper. As usual, it is equipped with ABS. The 17″ aluminium alloy rims mount 120/70-17 and 180/55-17 tyres. The tank has 15 litres of capacity. Weight though is a massive 220 kg’s dry.
Looks lovely doesn’t it? Benelli now has a very unique and potent range of motorcycles and surely we just cannot wait to see them in India. They still need to figure out a way to lower their maintenance costs especially with such lovely motorcycles in the pipeline.
