India Kawasaki Motors has launched special edition Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE and H2 SX at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018. Big and intimidating as it seems, the Ninja H2 SX SE has been designed for real-world applications. Although the standard Ninja H2 SX is not showcased in the Kawasaki Pavilion, it will be available for Indian customers.
The Supercharged Engine has been tuned for everyday street-riding situations, offering an output stronger than the H2 in the low-mid range combined with superb fuel efficiency. Its versatile engine character enables relaxed long-distance riding, easy manageability at slow speeds, and – when called upon – the exhilarating acceleration that only a supercharged engine can deliver.
Mr. Arima from Japan is in charge of Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE and H2 SX and now he is on work assignment in India. According to him “Ninja H2 SX has it all to change your touring experience whether you enjoy winding through the mountains, riding across the plains, or just heading down the highways. The Ninja H2 SX SE is the way to supercharge your journey.”
Thanks to its light weight – in standard trim, the Ninja H2 SX weighs only 18 kg more than the Ninja H2 – the Ninja H2 SX has a power-to-weight ratio between that of the Ninja H2 and Ninja ZX-14R. The formidable acceleration potential that results is coupled with a high level of touring comfort care of a relaxed, sporty riding position, superb ride comfort, a blend of reassuring high-speed stability and agile handling, a host of touring features, Electronic Cruise Control, and Kawasaki’s latest IMU-equipped electronics package.
The sport touring Ninja H2 SX illustrates the wide potential of Kawasaki Heavy Industry’s in-house developed supercharged engine technology. Complementing the everyday usability and supercharged acceleration of the highly efficient Balanced Supercharged Engine, the Ninja H2 SX offers reassuring stability at highway speed, superb ride comfort, numerous convenience features and a host of sport tourer equipment ensuring that it is the mightiest sport tourer on the market.
There are noteworthy differences between the standard Ninja H2 SX and special Ninja H2 SX SE. For instance, the analogue-style tachometer is complemented by a full digital LCD screen in the SE model, in special edition Kawasaki’s firsts including LED cornering lights, Kawasaki’s first TFT LCD instrumentation, and 100% LED lighting have been utilized to justify its tag of flagship model. The advance technology such as electronic cruise control, which is first for a Kawasaki sport tourer, then Kawasaki traction control, Kawasaki launch control mode and Kawasaki quick shifter offer selection of intervention to suit variety of riding situation, from touring to sport riding.
Other convenient features like easily removable front seat without tools greatly facilitates access to the battery and under seat storage to keep small items. The standard Ninja H2 SX is available only in black colour, while the Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE will be available in garnish Ninja colours. In India the Ninja H2 SX and Ninja H2 SX SE are priced at 21,80,000 and 26,80,000 Ex-showroom respectively.
