Suzuki India has launched the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT ABS in India. It was first shown to us at the Auto Expo 2018. It will be available in two colour options – Champion Yellow Color No. 2 and Pearl Glacier White and is priced at INR 7,46,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Suzuki V-Strom 650XT ABS is equipped with four stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC with 645cc displacement, 90° V-twin engine, making it an ideal and an attractive option for anyone seeking a perfect middleweight adventure bike. Power lies at 71 HP @ 8,800 RPM and torque at 62 Nm at 6500 RPM. It is equipped with the fuel-injection technology that churns out an improved performance. The lightweight Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) offers a controlled grip on the road and trustworthy braking performance in extreme conditions. The three-mode traction control system (2 Mode + OFF Mode), that ensures superior control over the engine which is effective in difficult road conditions helping prevent rear wheel spin further adds to the riding confidence.
The all-new multi-function instrument panel incorporates the speedometer, odometer, fuel level, coolant temperature, gear position, battery voltage, traction-control modes; and provides the rider with accurate information throughout their journey. Keeping in mind the long touring terrains and unexpected weather conditions, the bike comes with a 12V DC outlet as a standard feature, supporting rider to use satellite navigation systems and recharging mobile devices.
The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT ABS comes equipped with Suzuki Easy Start System enabling to start the engine with only one-push of the starter button. It also has a windscreen with a three position adjustment for increased wind protection in any kind of weather. Enhancing the high on-road capabilities, sturdiness, and firmness, the model is equipped with specially designed BATTLAX ADVENTURE A40 tyres with tubeless tyre applicable wire spoked wheels.
With Suzuki’s adventure DNA, V-Strom 650XT ABS has gained the status as the benchmark for the middle-weight adventure model. It takes its design inspiration from the desert racer DR-Z and DR-BIG. It comes with highly visible and stylish LED tail lights, and slim and easy to manoeuvre bodywork with a new slimmer tank for stress free long rides. Suzuki V-Strom 650XT ABS is versatile, controllable and accessible in its total performance and provides an excellent riding experience. In India, a saree guard and front number plate bracket are included as a part of the standard equipment for the V-Strom 650XT ABS.
