Buyers can get total benefits up to a whopping INR 70,000 on these bikes. Some dealerships are also offering loans at lower rates of interest as well. These are enticing discounts that are sure to bring in more buyers at BMW Motorrad dealerships, but seriously piss off existing owners!
Both these models have the same platform and the same single cylinder 313.2 cc liquid cooled engine with a reverse inclined positioning. This engine dishes out 34 hp and 28 Nm of peak torque and is paired to a 6-speed transmission unit. There is standard dual-channel ABS although a switch is only provided in the G310 GS model for turning this off. The G310 R sports the naked street bike design template complete with 17-inch alloy wheels and standard Michelin tyres for superior grip. On the other hand, the G310 GS is designed like an adventure touring motorcycle with features like 17-inch rear and 19-inch front wheels, Metzeler Tourance tyres and a long travel suspension system. The G 310 R and G 310 GS are priced at INR 2.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and INR 3.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively and the with the discounts, the on-road prices pretty much match the ex-showroom prices.
