The 2019 Triumph Tiger 800 XCa or the off-road top-end variant of the Tiger 800 has been launched in the Indian market. The present-gen Tiger 800 arrived last year with just the XCx variant and the 200+ upgrades over the earlier version. The Tiger 800 XCa will have features like LED lighting, a five-way joystick, backlit switch cube illumination, heated seat and grips and an aluminium radiator guard in tandem with added screen styles for the console and centre stand. Cruise control, switchable ABS and traction control make up other key features along with riding modes such as Rain, Off-Road, Road, Sport, Rider-Programmable and Off-Road Pro.
The bike has the same 800 cc liquid cooled engine making 94 BHP and 79 Nm and this is mated to a six speed transmission unit. The Tiger 800 line-up is priced from INR 12 lakhs in the Indian market and the new 2019 Triumph Tiger 800 XCa has been priced at Rs 15.16 lakh (ex-showroom India).
