Spy pictures have emerged of the 2020 Triumph Daytona 765 which indicates a global launch late this year. The platform for the new bike is a three cylinder engine developed by Triumph in 2018 for its Moto2 campaign and it sounds and looks absolutely great in race spec. Production version may dish out as much as 135 HP and possibly more while adhering to Euro 5 emission norms.

The Daytona also has a dedicated fan base in India although the Daytona was phased out around two years earlier. The new Daytona 765 should be well equipped with features like an Ohlins top-end suspension system, latest electronics, race-spec brakes from Brembo, cornering ABS, riding modes, switchable traction control and a quickshifter as standard. Sadly it looks like the design might be quite similar to the earlier model although there should be a TFT instrument panel, LED lighting and edgier touches this time around. If it launches in India, the Triumph Daytona 765 will take on the recently launched Kawasaki ZX-6R in its segment.
