The Bajaj Dominar 400 became Deepak Kamath, Deepak Gupta and Avinash PS’s ship on the icy desert of Antarctica during this 99 day long expedition. The Dominar 400 and their riders covered 15 countries and 3 continents which was a total distance of 51,000 Km. There was no service backup or support at all.
Reaching the continent (Antartica) is a difficult task in itself and making through it is another herculean task. The desolate and snowy terrain makes it difficult to travel. But the Bajaj Dominar 400 was commendable on the polar odyssey of Kamath and co. The travellers began their journey above the Arctic Circle from Alaska. They rode through the most difficult roads like the James Dalton Highway, Dempster Highway, Pan-American section of Atacama Desert, and Death Road of Bolivia. What’s more interesting is that the Dominar did not even break down once during their journey. They covered approximately 500 km everyday on their way to Antartica. The resilience of the trio of travellers and the outstanding performance of the Dominar has created history together. Watch the video below for a better look at what these riders and their machines have achieved.
