Bajaj Auto has released the Avenger 180 Street ABS teaser prior to its launch in the Indian market. The bike is expected to be launched within a period of couple of weeks. Bookings for the Avenger 220 Cruise ABS has already begun and will be priced at roughly INR 1.02 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the Avenger 180 Street ABS may be retailed for anywhere around INR 93,000 (ex-showroom) with the non-ABS model being sold at INR 86,611 (ex-showroom, Delhi) at present.
The Avenger 180 Street ABS will sport a single-channel ABS setup with the RLP or Rear-Life Protection sensor in tandem with 260 mm and 130 mm front disc and rear drum brakes. There will be no other mechanical changes for the bike. Bajaj is also working on the new generation Avenger line-up as per but this may arrive only next year. The Avenger 180 Street ABS will also retain its Ebony Black and Spicy Red colour choices.
The bike will get the same air cooled 178 cc DTS-i engine that makes 15 PS and 13.7 Nm. This engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox while there are 17-inch and 15-inch front and rear alloy wheels.
