The Jawa Forty Two and the Jawa were launched a few months back and deliveries are all set to commence from March 2019. These deliveries will cater to customers who had booked the motorcycles back in November 2018.
Jawa Motorcycles India has stated on Twitter that deliveries will commence from March 2019. But customers who have chosen dual-channel ABS will have deliveries starting from June 2019 only. Dealerships will notify customers depending on their positions in the queue as per the company’s statement. Jawa Motorcycles is busy launching several dealerships throughout the country with a recent outlet coming up at Indore. The company is on track towards having 105 functional dealerships throughout India within the next few months.
The Jawa Perak factory-custom bobber which had been showcased at the launch of the Jawa and the Forty Two models is expected by September 2019. Jawa motorcycles have already been sold out till September 2019 and waiting periods have gone up to 6 months.
The Jawa Classic will take on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 while the Forty Two will take on the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X. The Jawa bikes get a DOHC 293 cc liquid cooled engine that make 27 BHP and 28 Nm.
