For January 2019, the Suzuki Access 125 has trumped the TVS Jupiter to take second place in the list of highest selling scooters in the Indian market. The Honda Activa continues to be the highest selling scooter brand in the country, having notched up a whopping 2,13,302 units in sales volumes last month, the Suzuki Access came in at second position with sales figures of 54,254 units while the TVS Jupiter came in at third position with 51,300 units in sales volumes.
Sales figures increased by a handsome 44% for the Suzuki Access 125 on a year-on-year basis while the TVS Jupiter had sales figures coming down by 21%. The Suzuki Access 125 comes in two variants, namely the Access 125 SE or Special Edition and Access 125. The difference is restricted to just the colour choices for the variants. The Special Edition Access 125 has a leatherette seat cover.
Other high selling scooters in the top 10 include the Hero Destini, Honda Dio, Yamaha Fascino, TVS NTorq, TVS Pep+, Hero Pleasure and Hero Maestro.
