For 2025 model year, the Hornet lineup expands further with the debut of two new flagship models. The new CB1000 Hornet and its SP version take center stage, pushing the excitement to new levels. Honda’s latest naked flagship has its performance coming from a CBR1000RR Fireblade-based engine (producing 151 Ps at 11,000 rpm and 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm) paired with short gear ratios. The engine works in tandem with a new twin-spar frame offering high torsional rigidity, Showa’s ‘big piston’ SFF-BP upside-down forks, and Nissin brake calipers.

The bike’s styling is aggressive and minimalist, led by compact dual LED projector headlights and the Hornet-signature fuel tank. Its broad-shouldered front end tapers sharply to the rear, accentuated by a minimal seat unit that emphasizes the traditional narrow-waisted Hornet profile. The blacked-out frame and trellis-style rear subframe add to the overall design.
Underneath the minimalist look lies advanced technology, including multiple riding modes with adjustable Power, Engine Braking, and Honda Selectable Torque Control settings, a 5-inch full-color TFT screen with Honda RoadSync connectivity, and the standard Honda Emergency Stop Signal (ESS).

For those seeking an enhanced riding experience, the CB1000 Hornet SP is also available. Power is increased to 115.6kW with 107Nm of torque, and the SP features premium chassis and drivetrain components, such as an adjustable Öhlins TTX36 rear shock, a standard quickshifter, and Brembo Stylema brakes, taking the CB1000 Hornet SP to the next level.
The 25YM CB1000 Hornet is available in the following colors:
- Grand Prix Red
- Mat Iridium Gray Metallic
- Pearl Glare White
The SP variant comes exclusively in a special Mat Ballistic Black Metallic finish, complemented by gold forks and unique ‘desert gold’ metallic wheels.
