Suzuki has introduced the all-new DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM models, revealing them at the EICMA event in Milan, Italy. These bikes, modern successors to the popular DR-Z400S and DR-Z400SM, bring fresh updates in design and technology.

Suzuki DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM Engine and Performance

Both models are powered by a newly developed 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC four-stroke engine. This engine, compliant with Euro 5B standards, is designed for better power delivery and fuel efficiency while retaining the DR-Z legacy of reliability. It includes innovations like titanium intake valves, sodium-filled exhaust valves, twin spark plugs, and a slipper clutch with Suzuki’s Clutch Assist System. The 42mm electronic throttle and 10-hole injector ensure smooth power delivery, resulting in peak outputs of 38PS at 8,000rpm and 37Nm torque at 6,500rpm, achieving over 80mpg.
