350 Jawa 42 FJ unveiled in Bengaluru

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the all-new 350 Jawa 42 FJ in Karnataka, adding to the Jawa “42 Life” lineup. This launch, which honors the brand’s founder, František Janeček, represents a significant milestone for the Jawa 42 series, which has already won over riders with models like the 42 and 42 Bobber. In celebration of ongoing festivities, the company will commence deliveries of the new motorcycle by handing over keys to enthusiastic customers in the region. In Bengaluru, excitement was high as the first group of owners received their motorcycles, marking a festive celebration of new beginnings.

Continuing its momentum, the company has opened four Jawa Yezdi Cafés in the region, with plans to introduce six more by the end of the year, significantly expanding its sales and service network across Karnataka. This expansion complements the brand’s existing network of six dealerships in Bengaluru and 11 across the state.

The name of this motorcycle draws inspiration from František Janeček, the visionary founder of Jawa, with the goal of delivering a bold, modern riding experience for contemporary motorcycling enthusiasts. Jawa 42 FJ: What its all about

The 350 Jawa 42 FJ fuses classic Jawa DNA with modern flair, presenting itself as a true neo-classic motorcycle. A standout feature is its anodized, brushed aluminum fuel tank cladding, a first in the segment. This finish enhances the bike’s appeal and allows for personalization with various color options and Jawa branding choices.

Other notable design elements include the aluminum headlamp holder, grab handles, and foot pegs, creating a cohesive aesthetic that honors Jawa’s heritage while embracing contemporary craftsmanship. The 42 FJ’s iconic curves and distinct silhouette celebrate its rich legacy, while an off-set fuel cap adds a unique touch. The wide, flat seat with premium stitching ensures both rider comfort and style.

Modern features include an upswept exhaust that delivers the signature Jawa sound and a full-LED lighting package. A fully digital instrument cluster and USB charging port offer a blend of traditional aesthetics with modern technology.

At the heart of the Jawa 42 FJ lies the cutting-edge 350 Alpha2 engine, which produces 29.2 PS and 29.6 Nm of torque. This engine is designed for impressive acceleration, smart gear-based mapping, and a smooth six-speed gearbox with A&S clutch technology. The 42 FJ is built for robust performance, making it a formidable player in the neo-classic segment.

Built on a double cradle frame for superior handling, the 42 FJ has a long 1440 mm wheelbase for enhanced stability on highways. With a class-leading 178 mm ground clearance, the FJ is well-suited for adventurous rides. The dual-channel ABS and larger disc brakes provide precise stopping power, significantly boosting rider safety and confidence. Additionally, premium diamond-cut alloy wheels with tubeless tires enhance convenience and performance.
