The all-new BMW M 1000 XR was launched in India recently. Available as a completely built-up unit (CBU), this motorcycle can now be booked at all BMW Motorrad India authorized dealerships, with deliveries beginning in June 2024.

The all-new BMW M 1000 XR

The dynamic design of the M XR exudes pure performance and sportiness, with compact and powerful proportions. The aggressive front features new M winglets and signature LED lights, enhancing recognition and driving stability. The bike includes upside-down forks with a 45 mm slide tube diameter at the front, adjustable for the spring base and damping.

The sporty look continues with a new, narrower rear section, motorsport-style air intakes, and a slim passenger grab handle. The M XR showcases M milled parts, such as the M clutch and brake levers, and a titanium rear silencer. The front has an all-black finish, including the fork bridge and legs, with bar-end mirrors enhancing its exclusive look.

The M XR features a water-cooled 4-cylinder in-line engine based on the S 1000 RR, producing 148 kW (201 hp) at 12,750 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 278 km/h. BMW ShiftCam technology optimizes valve timing and lift on the intake side.

Equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT display, adaptive turning light, electronic cruise control, and heated grips, the new M XR also offers multiple riding modes, Dynamic Traction Control, and features like Launch Control and Shift Assistant Pro. The M Competition Package, standard with the bike, includes M Carbon wheels and parts, a fully adjustable M rider footrest system, and more, making the M XR lighter and enhancing its performance and aesthetics.

A range of optional equipment and original BMW Motorcycle accessories are available for further customization of the all-new BMW M 1000 XR.
