On India’s 78th Independence Day, Classic Legends announced the launch of one of the most iconic motorcycle brands, BSA, in the country. The Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA), once the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer and a symbol of British industrial prowess, has enjoyed a loyal following since its inception in 1861.
BSA makes its entry into the Indian market with the ‘gold standard’ of British motorcycle engineering—the legendary Gold Star. The BSA Gold Star 650, which made a triumphant return in the UK in 2021, has already garnered success across Europe, Turkey, New Zealand, and the Philippines. Now, it is set to captivate Indian motorcycle enthusiasts. Following its Indian debut, BSA plans to expand into the US, Australia, and Japan. The BSA Gold Star will be available at select dealerships across India starting August 15, 2024, with prices beginning at Rs 2.99 Lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Equipped with a 12V socket and USB charging port, it ensures riders stay connected during long journeys. The bike’s rider-focused design includes easily adjustable rear shocks for personalized comfort.
