BSA Motorcycles, the iconic British brand, which is now made in India, has delivered its first BSA Gold Star 650 in Rajasthan to Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur. Known for his vast collection of heritage artifacts, including antique cars and crystals, Prince Lakshyaraj has now added the legendary Gold Star 650 to his impressive collection. The handover took place during a private ceremony at the prince’s residence in Udaipur, where the motorcycle joins other prized vehicles on display in the city’s famous palace, which is open to the public.
The BSA Gold Star 650, launched in India on August 15, 2024, combines classic British design with modern engineering. With roots dating back to 1903, BSA has long been a symbol of motorcycling excellence and continues to carry its legacy forward. The Gold Star 650 now joins Udaipur’s esteemed automotive collection.

Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar expressed his admiration for the new addition, stating, “The BSA Gold Star 650 is a masterful blend of tradition and innovation. I have always admired vehicles with a rich history, and the Gold Star represents the best of both worlds—heritage and modern craftsmanship. It’s an honor to include this iconic motorcycle in my collection.”
Ashish Singh Joshi, Director of BSA Company, added, “The BSA Gold Star 650 holds a special place for those who appreciate history and craftsmanship, much like the esteemed collection curated by Prince Lakshyaraj. It is a privilege to present him with this timeless motorcycle, which we hope will bring him great joy both as a collector and rider.”
