Norton Motorcycles, a producer of premium, hand-crafted motorcycles and a part of TVS Motor, has announced that Dr. Robert Hentschel will step down as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, and transition to a non-executive director role within the company.
Since 2021, Robert has played a key role in strengthening Norton’s foundations, guiding the company through critical stages of its growth plan, and establishing a robust operational base. His efforts have fostered a strong, collaborative relationship with parent company TVS Motor, which has been essential to Norton’s progress and future growth.
To drive Norton’s ongoing development, the company has introduced a refreshed leadership structure. Nevijo Mance will join as Executive Director, overseeing all upstream business operations. In this capacity, he will lead product design, development, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality control, and supply chain management. Nevijo’s focus on these areas will help Norton uphold its commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and innovation, creating a solid foundation for delivering world-class motorcycles.
Richard Arnold, who became Executive Director in June 2024, will oversee downstream business operations, including marketing, brand management, sales, distribution, customer relationships, after-sales service, product management, and public relations. His focus will be on enhancing customer experiences, expanding Norton’s market presence, and reinforcing the brand’s global footprint, ensuring that Norton’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction resonates in all interactions.
With this evolved leadership structure, Norton Motorcycles is well-prepared to continue its journey toward becoming a leading global brand in premium motorcycles, upholding its legacy of quality and craftsmanship for enthusiasts around the world. We will hopefully see them in India soon.
